JTA: The Global News Service of the Jewish People

Mexican odds and ends

Wrapped up the final bits and pieces from my 10 days in Mexico. Two stories went live last night -- one about the tentative steps to open up Mexico's traditionally closed Jewish community, and another about a historical archive with some fascinating documents about Diego Rivera's connections with Jewish intellectuals, as well as other gems.

I also finished cutting one final video, this one about the various neighborhoods where Jews lived in their 20th century journey up the ladder of Mexican society.

In a few days, it's off to Europe. Some interesting stories are beginning to take shape, but I'm still open to further suggestions, so drop a line.
