The Jewish question (Wisconsin style): What’s a coastie?

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison debate whether a student-produced rap song about Jewish girls from the coasts is just an example of good, (un)clean fun or crosses the line into anti-Semitism.

As with most “rap” (or crap) music, since I couldn’t understand the lyrics due to the singers having a mouthful of marbles or dreck in their mouths. It certainly is drawing attention and the fact that there are Jewish students who are offended by this drivel is good enough for me to hope that no buyers appear on the scene.

So the students interviewed find this moronic bilge “harmless and funny?” Is it possible that these “students” are merely individuals registered at the university, rather than scholars?

More than possible.
