At one point, for 5 years, the lightweight, welterweight, middleweight and light-heavyweight titles were all held by Jews (Leonard, Lewis, McCoy and Levinsky, respectively). Scientific modern boxing was INVENTED by Daniel Mendoza, who proudly billed himself as “Mendoza the Jew”. See excellent book, “When Boxing Was A Jewish Sport”.
