]]> 2009-11-19T;22:58:01-05:00 Comment by Murray Aronson operafan101@hotmail.com For the record, plenty of non-Orthodox Jews were. captured, deported, and murdered.  Goodly numbers of Jews of Liberal, Neolog, and Reform streams from Germany, Austria, Hungary, etc, died in the Shoah.  German Jews had a greater warning period, 1933, and weren’t stuck in the same numbers as say Polish Jewry who found themselves suddenly in grave danger from the German invasion of 1939.  But hardly any Reformers, unfortunately that just isn’t true. I forget. But I suppose that since these people are “our” religious extremists, they’re a-okay.
