The indoctrination of hate towards an entire race imposed as “education” is the reason you can not rationalize with Islam. Islam substitutes truth and historical fact for hateful rhetoric and ignorance. Islam uses fear and ignorance to inflame a people intentionally left to wallow in poverty and pain so that it can take advantage of the righteous indignation of it all. Islam used to produce fine music, great science, and beautiful literature. Today produces only hate, death, and destruction. Islam is the anti G-d. It claims association with the Most High through a bastardized relationship believing it can force its way in by lying about its birthright. It could accept the ways of Ha-Shem and thus be nurtured and taught ,but Islam prefers hate, destruction, and evil. We have a saying… “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink”. From the beginning of Judaism the Arab world has strived to kill it, but because it is a creation of Ha-Shem they cannot prevail against it. Islam started with grand hopes and generous attitudes of peace, but it has become a mask for evil and wicked men to hide behind. G-d hears and G-d knows. The coming devastation of Islam is completely due to its refusal to accept G-d. Muslims won’t be able to blame this one on Judaism.

Congrats Peter Wudland on getting this year’s “Naive But Well Intended Intellectualizing” hateful people award. Believe or not Peter, Jews do have the capacity to realize that they are guilty of prejudice, cruelty and intolerance. The fact that some of us are passionate supporters of Israel does not mean that we are unaware of its faults, missteps and subculture of anger and intolerance towards Palestinians. That having been said, suggesting that Israel’s faults, justifies classic anti-Semitism is naive to say the least. (And if you are yourself Jewish, I respectfully suggest you’re not very proud of that birthright and probably don’t much more about it other than the fact that one of your parents was Jewish.) Israel’s seeking out militants trying to murder innocent civilians in an aggressive military action that regrettable includes civilian casualties doesn’t justify the boundless cruelty, murder and culture of hate the Palestinians have nurtured over the past 60 years.

I’m frustrated by the double standards of so called enlightened intellectuals who believe that any confrontation between white Europeans and third world people of color automatically means the white’ies are evil-doers and the people of color are the innocent victims regardless of the facts. Such reasoning smacks of prejudice, double standards and outright hypocrisy on the part of arrogant intellectuals who can’t see their own prejudices beyond their sense of historical guilt. Hate is hate, whether it’s being verbalized by trailer trash wearing a white sheet or enlightened liberal politicians whose noble soapbox is fighting for the downtrodden.

It is quite sad and ironic that the country that tried to colonize much of the world; that tried to suppress countless nations and cultures to build an empire upon which the sun would never set; that was quite comfortable shoving homeless Jews into DP camps in the wake of the Holocaust is today infected with such hate for Jewish people. Rationalize as you may, if walks like a duck…… it probably is.

Don’t be so hard on the UK. During the Nazi era, it took in more Jewish refugees relative to its population than did the US. The decision not to bomb the railway tracks to Auschwitz was probably made by FDR, or perhaps by Dwight Eisenhower and not by the UK. During the Nazi era, the New York Times, which was Jewish owned, relegated Nazi atrocities against the Jews to its back pages. I guess it did not want to look “too Jewish”. In 1928, it was probably easier for a rich Jew to buy a mansion in Berlin Grunewald or Wanssee than in Bronxville, NY, which was noted for its restricted covenants. The growth of anti-Jewish activities in western Europe in recent years probably reflects the rapid growth of the Muslim population. There are more Muslims living in these countries today than there were Jews living there in the 1930’s. Throughout the world, Jews face a demographic time bomb owing to high mixed marriages, low reproductive rates etc. But many straight Jews continue to discriminate against gay Jews. As Churchill might have put it: We can either hang together or we can hang separately.

Try walking around in Gaza wearing a yarmulke, and you’ll get a taste of how much people don’t care if you’re Jewish. You’ll be the one groaning and rolling on the ground, after one of them stabs you.

Antisemitism in England is far from new. Have a look at the Wikipedia article, “History of the Jews in England”  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_England   which describes a history of expressly anti-Jewish laws, massacres and a nearly 400-year expulsion;

“Constantine’s Sword,” a book by ex-priest James Carroll, (also made into a movie,) about the origins of antisemitism in the Catholic church;

and George Orwell’s article, “Antisemitism in Britain.”

http://orwell.ru/library/articles/antisemitism/english/e_antib

Here’s a quote:

“There has been a perceptible antisemitic strain in English literature from Chaucer onwards, and without even getting up from this table to consult a book I can think of passages which if written now would be stigmatised as antisemitism, in the works of Shakespeare, Smollett, Thackeray, Bernard Shaw, H. G. Wells, T. S. Eliot, Aldous Huxley and various others.” Orwell wrote his essay in 1945, during World War II, and he observed that native antisemitism was stirred up by anxiety over the war. Similarly now, during a time of economic uncertainty, antisemitism is likely to be exacerbated - in Britain and elsewhere.

At this point in our history we find that radical Islam has adapted Hitlers point of view.

Just look at the armed marchers of Hamas and Hizbala goose stepping and Nazi salute.

If this author thinks that the wall Israel built has to come down to promote peace with their Arab neighbors, I suggest he look at the facts of the success of the wall keeping out suicide boomers.

The success of a peace treaty with the Arabs first and fore-most is for Hamas to strike the destruction of Israel from their charter. Israel has given more for peace than any Arab organization or group.

What would have happened if, in 1937 their were 1 million + angry, exiled European Jewish young men , trained by British officers, sharpening their bayonets staring up the Italian boot at Hitler’s and Musolini’s soft underbelly. Worry about what the Arabs would do? Ha! Don’t make me laugh. Except for the Lone Lion, Winston Churchill, British antisemitism contributed to the death of 45 million people, including a significant number of their own. So what else is new?

Hey, Peter, you’re comparing a normal culture/society (Israel) to a psychotic, death-worshiping, Jew-hating society (Palestinians). How can peace ever be achieved when the Palestinian leaders teach their children to hate Jews? Are the adults suddenly going to tell their kids they can stop hating Jews now?

The problem the Palestinians create for Israel is, Hamas and their thousands of followers view a two-state solution as a starting point for eventually taking over everything. They may recognize Israel, but they don’t truly accept Israel. There’s a big difference! Israel can’t educate the Palestinian children not to hate them; that’s their parents’ and teachers’ jobs. Until they stop feeding their children that crap, no true permanent peace will be possible. Didn’t World War II occur in large part because of unresolved resentments left over from World War I?

This is enough babble. Stop it. The problem is one of perspective and whether you can recognize views different from your own, or only filter all views through your limited perspective of the world. If you are not for us you are against us. The Jewish community too readily adopts the language of GW Bush to define all actions and behaviors of others. Perhaps the criticism of Israel is justified. Instead of taking this as an insult, take it as a time for contemplation of one’s attitudes and views.

No one is suggesting anyone be mistreated. Not Jews, not Arabs, not Palestinians, not even terrorists. The vast majority of the world wants a better world, with less hate, less violence, less war, less destruction, less anger and less death. Those actions and behaviors that magnify the risks for anger, hate, fear, death, war and destruction most of the world hates. It doesn’t matter if these are the result of the actions of Nazi’s, Americans, Jews or Chinese. It does not sit well with the rest of the world and it is time to take stock of that fact and consider how to change it.

The Palestinians started it. The Israeli’s started it. The Arabs started it. I really don’t care who started it. I don’t care how long it has gone on, I’m tired and sick of watching it. I’m sick and tired of seeing innocent people caught in the middle killed, maimed and bearing the scars of these problems for the rest of their lives. I’m sorry if you can’t seem to grasp that. Moreover, I do blame the most powerful for not using the greatest restraint or seeking reasonable solutions to prevent conflict. Taking the approach, “we can’t deal with them” is not acceptable. Labeling everyone you dislike a terrorist to justify their deaths is not acceptable. Working to find common ground, finding ways to work together, ways to solve problems, ways to remove not create barriers is the path to success. Everything Jews do that adds to the hate, anger, fear and distrust in the Middle East adds to the problems. Putting on filters so you only see a limited perspective of the problem or a part of the equation doesn’t help solve it.

This is an interconnected world today. What happens in Israel or Gaza, Iraq or Pakistan, India or Tibet is seen throughout the world. People see the suffering, pain, fear and death and we want it to end whomever is responsible, whomever has the power to stop it. When people think only their perspective matters, only their feelings matter, only their suffering is important they will quickly discover that isn’t how the rest of the world feels. Classifying these views as anti-Semitic blinds you to the true reality. It has nothing to do with religion, personal beliefs or political leanings. It has everything to do with wanting the hate, anger, fear, death and killing to stop. I and most people in this world believe Israel has it within its power to work with Palestinians, improve understanding, cooperate, communicate and resolve differences if they really wanted to do that. Instead they point to the most extreme Palestinians and say “see, no we can’t, they want us dead and we have no choice but to kill them first”. Your response becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy. You hate them, they hate you more. You hate them more and their hate for you grows even greater. You build a wall around them, control their movements outside that wall because of your fear of them and guess what, their hate increases. Small wonder there isn’t any progress, who is making the effort to bring it about? At some point in time someone on some side must say, enough is enough. Stop it and quit blaming the other guy. That isn’t going to end this.

I don’t want to see more dead babies. I don’t want to witness more body parts strewn about the ground. I don’t want to see more missing limbs, more hate, more fear, more anger. in peoples faces I want you to start figuring out a way to stop it, to end it and to find a solution that prevents this needless slaughter. Don’t tell me you can’t. Don’t attribute it to anti-Semitism. Don’t make excuses for doing nothing. Don’t blame me because I don’t support it, agree with it and approve of it. I don’t, never have and never will. Until the Jewish community can understand this, until they look beyond themselves and seek answers the world waits to hear nothing will change and my support for Israel will remain tenuous at best. Not supporting Israel doesn’t mean I support the activities of the other side. I support neither side. I want both sides to make an effort to stop this hate and end it forever.
