JTA’s Ron Kampeas weighs in on the controversy over “Seven Jewish Children: A Play for Gaza,” arguing that the original play is offensive—but expressing sympathy for the effort to hold a reading and turn it into something… Jewish.

“First, this arc, irreducibly, equates Israel’s action in Gaza with the Holocaust”

Funny line, but you need to work a little harder to equate this play with holocaust denial. It’s not hard too do. But it insults our inelegance when you don’t put in the effort.

I guess Roth finds it interesting to “investigate” whether it is a steel knife or a carbon blade that is being stuck in our gut.
