Ignatius is a dual-national (not necessarily a dual-citizen), and one of those nationalities is Jewish. All Jewish nationals everywhere enjoy the protection of the laws of the Jewish State - even while living in America and holding American nationality and citizenship. Jewish-Americans have no place representing the United States in any matter involving the Jewish state. And Jews of any national hyphenation have no place mediating between Jews and Muslims anywhere ever.
