Ukrainian oligarchs’ sex and tallis video
Back in November, when I wrote a story about how a takeover by Ukrainian Jewish oligarchs of the venerable European Council of Jewish Communities was causing consternation among many of the European old-timers, the outgoing president of the organization, Jonathan Joseph, said to me of the Ukrainian Jewish oligarchs:
“They may dress funny and drink too much, but they’re sharp... They haven’t been rubbed down and made dull yet.”
A new video produced by a group of Ukrainian Jewish millionaires for the birthday of Ukrainian Jewish oligarch Alexander Melamud (not affiliated with the ECJC) appears to demonstrate that point (well, possibly not the part about their being sharp) -- to an extreme. Here's how Ynet describes it:
Men exposing their behinds, spraying ketchup on top of a sex doll and snorting white powder while singing obscene lyrics – this is not a drunken student hoax but a video featuring some of the Ukraine's most wealthy Jewish oligarchs...
The video's stars include Ukrainian parliament member Dmitry Sandler, who just last week held a wedding for his daughter in Israel; Melamud's partners and real estate tycoons Gari Korogodsky and Mikhail Spielman; and Alexander Gorodetsky, until recently owner of a major oil company.
Melamud's friends teased him mainly for his literary skills. They also joked about their own Jewish background: One scene shows the participants donned in prayer shawls while waving Star of David medallions and singing "we are heretics." Another shot shows them pouring vodka from bottles whose labels read "Jewish standard."

Well it’s stupid and not classy. So it’s tasteless. If the makers and sub-
ject were not Jews, then I’m sure because of the talleitim we’d hear cries of anti-Semitism. The video is a far cry from the lachrymose
concept of Judaism. While not my thing, the video wasn’t dull. A bi gezunt!
