New stance, or new spin? Ahmadinejad speaks to NBC

After interviewing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today, NBC News anchor Brian Williams pronounced Tehran as having a "new stance ready for further engagement."

"It was clear to all of us watching and listening he brought with him a new approach," Williams said of Ahmadinejad. Williams said the Iranian president told him, "We are not working to manufacture a bomb," said, "Nuclear weapons are so 20th century," and that, "if the American approach changes, Iranians will have a positive response.'"

Apparently, Williams is convinced. But is this a new stance, or just a new ploy by a regime doing all it can to stall action against a suspected nuclear weapons program just months away from being able to produce a bomb?

Anyone stupid enough to trust this maniac from Iran should be the first recipient of his bomb-why does Iran need so much protection for there nuclear sites if they are “peaceful"=They are trying to buy time and that is it

Chamberlin did the same with Hitler. He waved the piece of paper he had signed with Hitler that he would not invade or had any intention of invading and Churchill said Chamerlin was wrong for believing in Hitler who had no intention of fulfilling the agreement. We all know who was right and we keep falling into the same trap over and over. When a man say’s Israel is a dead corpse and will be destroyed he means what he said. The only reason he is acting nice so the world turns it’s head and thinks he is not making the bomb as Hitler did as Iran takes the same page and the world falls into the same hole. As the say” Fool me one same on you Fool me twice shame on me.”

Brian Williams is convinced, hmmm, and he works at NBC. Then it must be true!
Soon Williams will propose Ahmadinejad for the Nobel Peace prize and of course it will be co-sponsored by NBC. Hurray for the “free” press.

Ahmadinejad is smart and his latest move will simply be used to buy more time. Despite utterances to the contrary, I suspect that Iran is indeed trying to develop a nuclear weapon. However, the question is not IF Iran is developing nuclear weapons but WHY? The answer to that is in Israel’s own, unacknowledged, nuclear weapons.

If you want to stop Iran’s nuclear program, Israel should first acknowledge its own nuclear weapons and then get rid of them. Of course, this will never happen, which means we are now on the road to conflict, possibly nuclear.

Incidently, Ahmadinejad said nothing about “Wiping Israel off the map”—that was a deliberate mis-translation by the largely Zionist owned media. (See: http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=5866)

NBC and Mr. Williams should hang their collective “heads” (if they have any) in SHAME for buying into the ravings of this clearly deranged malignant narcissist. (Psychopathic Liar) ... The above correlation to Neville Chamberlain, one of history’s most notorious traitors and Adolf Hitler is indeed compelling. I applaud Mr. Rosner for drawing this very astute conclusion.

Since when is Brian Williams qualified to discern the true intentions of an Iranian despot?  Mr. Williams should stick to reading the news copy provided to him by his staff.

Seeing Brian Williams working so hard to sell the incoherent, vague, at times contradictory and insulting statements by Ahmadinejad as breakthrough and historic was stomach-turning to say the least. One should remind Williams that if he had bothered to do a little research, he would have realized that Iran’s presidents, from Rafsanjani to Khatami and Ahmadinejad, have all talked about “new approach” in exchange for “new behavior” to over-eager western reporters dying to be the bearer of the news of century. Ahmadinejad’s outright lies and are part of well-established pattern of deception by the mullahs’ regime to buy time and create fissures in the resolve of the world community

When exactly was the last time Iran attacked its neighbors?
Does Iran have territorial claims on any other country?
Ahmadi Nejad may be mad, but no more so than those who
think the middle-east crisis can be solved through use of force.
If anything, the Israelis with their repeated aggression should
know one thing that madman AhmadiNejad is alluding to:

If nukes could solve problems, why didn’t the Israeli win their
lastest war on Lebanon?  And honestly, are 8 yard walls the way
to move forward?
