I believe that Jimmy Carter showed the courage of his convictions in attempting, at the very least, to communicate with Hamas. Excluding any communication, not withstanding the need to establish parameters, i.e., conditions, does more to deteriorate the safety and sovereignty of Israel.
At least he tried...rather than the current administration’s lip service to the establishment of peace throughout the middle east.
