Lou Dobbs calls ADL “a joke”

In the midst of an on-air debate Monday night with Janet Murguia, an immigrants' rights activist from the National Council of La Raza (which recently launched a campaign to combat hate speech against immigrants), CNN's Lou Dobbs called the Anti-Defamation League "a joke" and an "absolute advocate group for open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens."
The ADL, which was cited by Murguia as "an outstanding organization," has previously chided Dobbs for "spread[ing] false propaganda about how immigrants are harming the United States."
The ADL has yet to comment on Dobbs' remarks.

My, my… Look at those left-wingers at the ADL, denying the Armenian genocide, pouncing on Hugo Chavez, attacking left-wing academics and activists for criticizing Israel, and decrying Muslim extremists.
Do you actually take yourself seriously?
To my knowledge the ADL has never implied it speaks for all Jews. It is clear that no organization or individual could ever make such a fatuous claim. Perhaps the ADL takes a stand on certain issues with which you disagree, but it stands for social justice for all peoples, and for someone to accuse a well-meaning organization that combats social and religious oppression of being a “left-wing political activist” club seems ridiculous.
The ADL is not a monolithic political bloc, it is an organization composed of people with differing political and social views.
Stan: you deprecate the ADL for decrying Muslim extremists? To me, decrying jihadists and Muslim extremists seems like the correct and moral course to pursue. The ADL is comprised of diverse opinions, like our society at large, and there were people within the ADL who wanted to bring the Armenian genocide to the forefront.
Do you actually take yourself seriously, when the criticisms you offer seem totally specious and not terribly well thought-through?
I was just remarking that the ADL does not conduct itself like a left-wing organization, not to criticize the ADL, which I believe does important work, but to mock Uunlisted for his idiotic statements.
As for your remark that “there were people within the ADL who wanted to bring the Armenian genocide to the forefront”—true or false: the Boston chapter head was fired when he broke ranks with Foxman?
jews have the lowest birth rates after russians and dutch.
give it a few years. no jews will be left anyway.
and only ppl they will have to blame for that is themselves.
Her’s an example of the ADL’s enthusiastic support for the Iraq War:

The ADL is a consistently left-wing outfit except when it comes to how it perceives the interests of Israel. No one should take bunch of smear merchants and ethnic chauvinists seriously. Dobbs is right, they are a joke.

Lou Dobbs is absolutely right!
This organization, whose mission used to be protecting Jews, is now nothing more than another left-wing political activist organization that implies it speaks for all Jews.
