Mike Huckabee—Marrano
No wonder Mike Huckabee can't go a week without reminding everybody that he's a "Christian Leader." It turns out the guys is overcompensating he's a Marrano. Check out this report:
"The only thing that I know that for sure we're going to do that we have always done is we'll go to our church Christmas Eve service," Huckabee said. "It's a huge community-wide celebration, and we do that every year. And then we have an unusual tradition that after the Christmas Eve service we go out and eat Chinese food. Don't ask me why."Asked if the tradition is intended to help him better relate to the Jewish community – who often celebrate Christmas with egg rolls and General Tso – Huckabee said, "No, it's Chinese food."
He was unaware of the Jewish Christmas tradition.
So he says.

And, in related news:
In a bold move that could dramatically alter the playing field of the
2008 GOP presidential race, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee
today named Jesus Christ as his vice presidential running mate.
Huckabee has made an increasing number of comments about his
relationship with Jesus in recent debates, but few Republican insiders
expected him to announce that he was anointing Christ as his
vice presidential pick.
This could be huge for Huckabee, said Stenson Partridge, a veteran
GOP consultant. Among Republican voters, Jesus Christ is even more
popular than Ronald Reagan.
The Rev. Pat Robertson, a supporter of former New York Mayor
Rudolph Giuliani, said he was blindsided by the news
of Huckabee’s decision:
I talked to Jesus last night, and he didn’t mention anything about it.
At a raucous Huckabee rally in Davenport, Iowa, today, supporters
of the former Arkansas governor could be seen holding signs reading
HUCKABEE/CHRIST in 2008.
It is highly unorthodox for a presidential candidate to select a vice
presidential running mate who is a prominent figure in the Holy Bible,
says Davis Logsdon, dean of the School of Divinity at the University
of Minnesota. But according to Logsdon, if the Huckabee-Christ ticket
makes it all the way to the White House, it could be historic in more
ways than one: If Huckabee is elected and then something happens
to him while in office, we would be looking at our first Jewish
president.
Many Jews have made it a family tradition to eat Chinese food on Christmas. Of course, this is the case because there aren’t any other restaurants open on Christmas except for Chinese and Japanese restaurants. Well, according to the JTA Blog it turns out that presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee shares this Christmas tradition with the Jews. And this might just be the only tradition that Huckabee shares with Jewish people. JTA picked up on the story from the end of a MSNBC report about Huckabee and religion:
--------------
“The only thing that I know that for sure we’re going to do that we have always done is we’ll go to our church Christmas Eve service,” Huckabee said. “It’s a huge community-wide celebration, and we do that every year. And then we have an unusual tradition that after the Christmas Eve service we go out and eat Chinese food. Don’t ask me why.”
Asked if the tradition is intended to help him better relate to the Jewish community, Huckabee said, “No, it’s Chinese food.”
He was unaware of the Jewish Christmas tradition.

Well, if you were also unaware of this widespread Jewish Christmas tradition, you should check out Brandon Harris Walker’s hillarious music video “Chinese Food on Christmas”.
