BZ
I pray that you are correct and that Reform and Conservatives are following more of the 613 commandments than they previously have followed.
BUT
I remember that in the 1990's the Jewish establishment said MOST intermarriages result in the non-Jew becomming Jewish or raising the kids Jewish. This turned out to be a disinformation lie by the establishment that had the result of causing severe damage to american Jewry.
Therefore, as a skeptic when you say Reform are keeping kosher. I say I'll believe it when I see it.
Have a Happy Pesach

Meir-
You can either adjust reality to fit your prejudices about the Reform movement (as you have done with your first comment) or adjust your view of the Reform movement to fit reality (which is that Reform Jews are more diverse than you think).

The Conservative movement has also passed a teshuva that the second day of yom tov is optional, and individual rabbis can decide whether their communities are to observe 1 or 2 days of yom tov, though very few Conservative congregations have opted for 1 day as a result.

I am not orthodox, poor assumption on your part, possible bigotry against orthodox by you.
I was bar mitzvaed in a conservative bar mitzva factory and in all honesty with the exception of a few rabbis and a handful of other Jews I have not seen conservative or reform Jews keep kosher.

Ha ha ha. Another bigoted voice is heard. Come on Meir, there are a lot of wonderful Reform and Conservative Jews who keep kosher-- my husband and I for example. Your old and tired stereotypes border on loshon hora. Not every Jew is Orthodox, and at least these folks are trying to keep Jewish traditions instead of walking away from them (or running away from them). They don't deserve your sarcasm.

The good news is that as a reform spiritual leader he probably washed down the matzo with roast pork and rabbit legs.
