Pastor John Hagee took 15 minutes today during his trip to Israel to hold a conference call with reporters from JTA, the Jerusalem Post, the Associated Press and the New York Times. Hagee, responding to questions that were submitted ahead of time, defended himself against Rabbi Eric Yoffie of the Reform movement and other critics who accuse the mega-church leader of being anti-Catholic and bent on stopping Israeli peace moves.

I am a practicing Jew.
Rabbi Eric Yoffe is a pathetic Jewish leader.
I prefer Pastor Hagee’s friendship to Rabbi Yoffe’s stupidity.
My heart is gladdened by Christians united for Israel and I am filled with sorrow at Rabbi Yoffe’s closed hand to a trusted friend.
Yoffe makes me ashamed. He is a fool.
I think both Hagee & the Rabbi Yoffe’, feel they have the Jews best interest at heart. Unfortunately there has been a lot happen in the past, to make the Rabbi feel he has true cause for concern, & I do deeply regret that,: for ALL, who really KNOW, & love, the ” rightly divided Word of G-D,”: love the Jew i sh people, & all people, & wi sh them well, & yet at the same time, do NOT want to betray what the y believe, which can sometimes get pretty disagreeable. JESUS would have us to agreee to disagree, in love. Some times, sad to say, that can’t seem to happen, & I’m sure it breaks our LORDs heart, when that, happens.!! My prayer is that we can ALL, start treating other s as, the way we, want, to be treated, as our LORD says, to do, & if we could just do that much, it sure would be a great place to start.
There’s a difference in standing up for what you believe in, & in b eing, ” anti,” something or someone. Most beliefs, want their people to defend what they believe, be it catholics, muslems, or Jews. Pastor Hagee, is for what the HOLY WORD, of the One & Only, True Living G-d, has to say. He’d be a lousy pastor, Not, to speak up, as would any other leader, be. We just don’t need to beat others who disagree with us, over the head, with the truth. As for Pastor, & Peace for the Israli’s, it is not true, that he doesn’t want there to be peace: however, the Bible is, very clear, about what to do, & Not, to do, & ALL Christians, that really believe, G-Ds, Holy WORD, knows the Jews are G-Ds chosen people, & the apple of G-Ds Eye, & to come against them, is to come against G-D, & that isn’t a very wise thing to do. We believe in the Kingdom of G-D, not a religion: & there’s a vast difference.!!G-D will defend Israel, & bring them into His, Peace, no matter what, & all who co-operate with that plan, will be blessed, & all who go against it, will suffer the consequences, of that decision. Only JESUS, was perfect. The rest of us have a long way to go. Can’t we take that journey togetrher, in peace?? G-D would be ever so proud of ALL His children, that do that, no matter what they are called, or belong to. Can’t we at least TRY, to make our Heavenly FATHER happy/!! His Heart is big enough to love all, of us.!!!
My impression is that Rev. Hagee is a good man, an ardent suppoter of Israel and our people, and and should be thanked for his unconditional support of Israel…

Rabbi Yoffie is absolutely correct to encourage us to distance ourselves from Pastor Hagee. When support for Israel is predicated on the hope that we will cease to be Jews and convert to Christianity, we are better off without it.
I am afraid of all fundimentalists. Hagee is a fundimentalist therefore I am afraid him.
Rabbi Eric Yoffee is not a fundimentalist therefore I am not afraid of him. Most of the time I agree with him and sometimes I do not. He is the leader of our stream of Judaism and a very thoughtfull man. I believe that Pastor Hagee wants me and all Jews to convert to Christianity. I think his support of Israel is only to that end and NOT in support of a Jewish Israel. For one, I wish we would keep his money. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend.
I am so glad Rabbi Yoffee has spoken out about Pastor Hagee. While Pastor Hagee may believe he has our best interests at heart, that does not make him right.
Living in San Antonio, where Pastor Hagee is also based, I feel I know his influence well by observing my peers who grew up in his church. Most of them have left his congregation.
He is a fundamentalist, and that is not something we need to align ourselves with.
I wouldn’t even call Mr. Yoffie a Rabbi since he all he does is appease anti-semites and anti-Israel activists around the world. He has appeared before radical Muslim groups and has had Muslim extremist speakers at the Reform Movement’s convention. One of these speakers actually compared Muslims today to victimized Jews during the Holocaust! Mr. Yoffie never disputed this absolutely outrages analogy. He is not to be trusted.
Mr. Yoffie’s attack against Pastor Hagee is caused by jealousy. During his current trip to Israel Pastor Hagee has met with Prime Minister Olmert and several other top government officials. The last time Mr. Yoffie visted Israel he wasn’t evenn addressed as a Rabbi by many officials because the Reform Movement is not viewed as being legitimately part of Judaism in Israel.
The Reform Movement is fraught with assimilation, intermarriage and a low birth-rate. Mr. Yoffie knows he’s in trouble and that the Reform Movement is a joke.
The only fundamentaist here is Mr. Yoffie and his anti-Israel friends!
Rabbi Yoffie is cut from the very traditional leftist fabric that believes, naively at that, if we are nice and respectful to our Muslim “friends” all will be sweetness and light. It’s the same belief system that is mocked daily by the radicals in Islam who firmly believe that they can take any action they wish as long as it can be wrapped in the Quran.
Mohammed had no use for Jews, Christians and other “idolaters” in the 8th century and his spiritual descendants today believe the same. Men like Yoffie continue to believe that sweet reason wll work to change their minds.
He and his ilk are more dangerous to Israel and the Jews in general than the hordes of angry Muslims. They just “don’t get it!”
Mr. Hagee may be a supporter of Israel, but he is not a friend of the Jewish People or any Christian Denomination. He is a narrowminded fool, who does not appreciate the various points of view, and is not tolerant of different ways to G-d. Mr. Hagee, apparently, doesn’t know the history of Christianity or of the Jewish People. His Protestant form of Christianity is only about 500 years old, while the Catholic Church is 2000 years o.d. The Church began as a peaceful and righteous break off sect of Judiasm, but spread its message by the of the sword or with the barrel of a gun. (”Convert, Die or Leave” and even if you do convert, we don’t believe you.) These folks are scary, deceitful people, who preach one thing, but do another. Mr. Hagee, Please leave the Jews alone. As you can see, I agree with the incite of Rabbi Yoffee.
Hagee with his love for Israel should call out 10 million Christians who love Israel to march on Washinton and tell Bush not to sell out Israel to the terrorist Abbas! Friends are suppose to help friends. Bush needs a real talking to before Bush procedes to give Abbas new terrorist bases in east Jerusalem and Samaria.

A MAN OF YOUR CATEGORY WHO HAS ASSOCIATED AND STUDIED TORAH WITH OUR ORTHODOX RABBI WILL HAVE MANY BLESSINGS FROM GOD. I HAVE STUDIED JEWISH HISTORY AND TORAH ALL MY LIFE, BUT I BELIEVE THAT CERTAIN DESTINIES CAN ONLY BE RESOLVED BY GOD AND HE WILL USE WHOEVER HE CHOOSES TO BRING ABOUT THAT RESOLUTION .GOD BLESS YOU.

There are some rumors since pope Benedict XVI USA visit that Rev. Hagee is going to convert to Ramadan Christianity.I hope this is not true. Bush & McCain are Ramadan Christians. Some Christians state Hagee will trade in the Bible for the Cathechism of the Catholic Church like Rev. Jack Van Impe has promoted on his television shows. Hagee is ready to embrace his new found faith soon I am told.
I can’t believe that Sen. Joe Lieberman embraces Hagee. For those that may be interested, please go to Huffington Post, dated 6/2/08 in order to read Hagee’s comments about the Anti-Christ as it relates to the Jewish people. I’m convinced that Hagee is an anti-semite in wolf’s clothing.
Please contact Sen. Lieberman and implore him not to be in the same venue with Hagee.
