State Department spokesman: We also want to criticize the Palestinians, we really do

The State Department’s P.J. Crowley actually used a question about Israel to focus some attention on the Palestinians. But the assembled reporters weren’t biting.

The more sore point, that was not mentioned by either the reporters or the State Dept. spokesman was the PA’s honoring of the terrorist who killed 37 Jews, mostly children and women.

That’s being unfair. He tried his best to speak out about the concerns the US State Dept has over Palestinian officials trying to incite trouble, but the reporter would not hear of it and constantly worked to turn it into an Israel bashing press conference. Be fair Mr. Cappiello

As usual, he hems and haws and is unwilling or unable to condemn the calls for riots that emanated from the Arab street and brought thousands of Arabs into Jerusalem to protest the dedication. Typical State Department flak
