JTA’s Ron Kampeas was in the (White) House for President Obama’s prime-time news conference Tuesday night. Read his on-the-ground report.

I was very disturbed by the tone of the question. To me that “reporter” was an ignorant, uninformed, anti-Semite (an oxymoron?).

Who is Isreal’s negotiating partner, a political group run by thugs, and/or a terrorist group dedicated to the destruction of Israel.? Actually Fatah has never agreed to remove it’s stated dedication of the destruction of Israel.

Unfortunately, Mr. Obama’s answer was evasive to the question. He still sounds and acts like a parochial community organizer.

Imagine what Isreal will suffer when/if Judea and Samaria become like Gaza?

Mr. Netanyahu has it correct. The Arabs never have had a democratic culture, and need to become acquainted with freedom and a free economy.

When Israeli Arabs are asked if they would prefer to live in Israel or the PA, 99% agree to Israel.

I believe that most Jews’ relationships with Mr. Obama are what I would describe as the “Bernard Madoff Syndrome”.

Kampeas says “I’m grateful to AFP for asking the question,” a question that portrays the next PM and FM in a negative light. Bibi understands that Abbas has no power with the spector of Hamas in the background. Lieberman wants israeli Arabs to be loyal to their state and not dance on their rooftops when Haifa receives incoming during the last war. For this he is grateful? Whose side is he on?

Is Mr. Kampeas serious? We, the United States of America have to reconcile our differences with Israel? Give me a break. Israel needs us far more than we need them. My answer to the question is, we will hopefully pursue our interests in the region. Israel will have to make its own determination as to what its interest is, and act accordingly.
