Holocaust hype enters the elections

Just days after an email to 75,000 Pennsylvania Jews suggested that a vote for Barack Obama could cause another Holocaust, at least two of the signatories to the letter are distancing themselves from it.

This after the political operative who apparently wrote the letter was fired.

The letter, paid for by the state Republican Party, caused a huge uproar, with e-mails flying back and forth.

Both I. Michael Coslov, the campaign chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and Sandra Schultz Newman, a former state supreme court justice, are distancing themselves from the letter, saying they hadn’t actually read its contents before signing on.

Coslov said he doesn’t think Obama is “right for the Jewish people, but I don’t think he’s going to cause another Holocaust.”

Newman issued an apology to those who had e-mailed her objecting to the letter.

“I regret that I did not carefully review the final draft before it was released with my signature,” she wrote. “Some of the language was inappropriate and intemporate. I apologize to anyone who was offended by this misguided e-mail.”

But another Republican salvo continued the theme over the weekend. The Republican Jewish Coalition mobilized volunteers to distribute leaflets in heavily Jewish neighborhoods in suburban Philadelphia. The glossy leaflets also referenced the Holocaust indirectly.

Featuring a photo of Obama speaking in Germany, the sheet said: “Concerned about Obama? You should be. History has shown that a naive and weak foreign policy has resulted in tragic outcomes for the Jewish people.”

And what were Mr. Olmert and the Knesset doing all this time???

Bush might not be a rocket scientist, but Obama is a United Nations-loving “world citizen,” and you know where those people stand on Israel.

Let’s see, Israel really benefited under the Bush administration, right? Gaza was turned over to Hamas; the war in Lebanon ended badly with Hezbollah gaining support, power and arms as a result; Iran has become a major nuclear threat, which the Republican administration has done nothing about; Israel is more vulnerable now than it was before this Republican administration. All this with the support of the military genius, George Bush.I don’t think Israel can afford another “friendly” Republican President.

Confirmed: MSM Holds Video Of Barack Obama Attending Jew-Bash & Toasting a Former PLO Operative… Refuse to Release the Video!

Introduction: The LA Times is holding a video that shows Barack Obama celebrating with a group of Palestinians who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gives a toast to a former PLO operative at this celebration. If the American public saw this side of Barack Obama he would never be elected president.

But, the media refuses to release this video.

LA Times writer Peter Wallsten wrote about Barack Obama’s close association with former Palestinian operative Rashid Khalidi back in April.

Wallsten discussed a dinner held back in 2003 in honor of Khalidi, a critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights.

Barack Obama has denied his close association with Khalidi, too.

According to Wallsten the evening not surprisingly turned into a classic Jew-bash:

“During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, “then you will never see a day of peace.”

One speaker likened “Zionist settlers on the West Bank” to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been “blinded by ideology.”

Barack Obama also praised the former PLO operative during the event.

And, Obama confessed that his family often shared dinner with the Khalidis:

His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases… It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation—a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”

...The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.

Khalidi and the Obamas were great friends in Chicago and often shared meals together.

By the way, Khalidi was also best friends with Bill Ayers.

Sarkozy wary of Obama’s position on Iran, say Israeli sources

By Barak Ravid

“French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama’s positions on Iran, according to reports that have reached Israel’s government. “

“Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate’s stance on Iran as “utterly immature” and comprised of “formulations empty of all content.”

“History has shown that a naive and weak foreign policy has resulted in tragic outcomes for the Jewish people.” 100 percent correct, but the fact sheet should have added tragic outcomes for Polish people, Gypsies, Czechs, Greek people, Russian people, French people, British people (like those upon whom V-2 ballistic missiles landed), American people, and even the German people in the end.

Obama’s own running mate says openly that dictators like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il, Vladimir Putin, and so on will be eager to “test” Barry as soon as he takes office. If Ahmadinejad does so by nuking Tel Aviv, the consequences will be tragic for the Jewish people. If Putin rolls his tanks into the Ukraine, it will be tragic for the Ukranian people (and for the world if it leads to a nuclear world war). If Osama bin Laden detonates a nuclear bomb in Washington DC, it will be tragic for the American people.

Let’s not have a tragedy or a holocaust for anyone; elect John McCain.
