Mr. President, Jew say janitor?
I'm not sure if the Daily Caller's Jamie Weinstein is having fun with this (I hope he is), but if he is not, let me point out that "Jew" is a one-syllable, vowel-ended word, and that there are a lot of words (and malapropisms) that could start out with "Ju---"
Here's how Weinstein transcribes it:
If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew — as a janitor — makes me a warrior for the working class, I wear that as a badge of honor.”
If Obama is a) indeed a socialist and does indeed think that b) Jews are akin to janitors, we're not doing so badly, right?
UPDATE: It seems the L.A. Times thinks he was saying "Jew" as well. This is as unserious as it gets. Bob Somerby, please weigh in!

Why “unserious”? Maybe a Freudian slip? Maybe he’s now a Moses figure and now stammers ers or at least is of heavy tongue? Why dismiss it? After all, in having Bibi come through the side entrance to the White House, maybe Obama does think in the way people thought of black janitors at one time?
Gimme a break. Ill liberals are the Jews biggest enemy throughout history time and again. A vote for ill liberals is a vote for death. A vote for Obama is another vote for BLT. He is yanking the ME as cover for his ” American Spring”. Just ask an ill liberal if they support Sharia Laws or not? Yes, ill liberal women are some of the most disgusting folks in the world. See IF they will answer and if they do, you don’t need anymore. A vote for ill libearals is a vote for death.

It seems clear that he misread janitor and was going to say junior but corrected himself.
