Those wacky Swiss
The (British) Daily Telegraph reports on an anti-immigrant ad campaign by Switzerland's largest political party, the Swiss People's Party.
It contrasts two images: One of four nude models entering a pristine lake, hands held; the other of clothed apparently Muslim women bathing in murkier waters.
I'm not Swiss, nor have I ever been.
But frankly, who would you rather hang with? The four dummies who forgot to get dressed? Or the ladies who, between them, have enough gossip and stories to make a morning last a lifetime (and who could probably brew a mean kaffe on the kerosene thingy once they're out of the water)?
Racism: the refuge not just of the stupid but worse, of the ... boring.

Mr Kampeas, if you knew Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse before the
heavy wave of non-European immigration to Switzerland and
compared it with today’s look , you would choose - as I do - the
four “dummies” with cute asses instead the gossiping ladies
in the murky waters. It’s not a question of “racism”, it’s a question
of quality of life.
