Will Chelsea convert?
With Chelsea Clinton's wedding date fast approaching, Politics Daily tackles (well, tries to anyway) the question on your mind: Will the former First Daughter being converting to Judaism?
Religion is an issue as well, as it often is: Chelsea, 30, is the daughter of a social justice Methodist (Hillary) and a Bible-quoting Southern Baptist (Bill), and Mezvinsky, 32, was raised in Conservative Judaism, a major Jewish movement that discourages intermarriage and forbids rabbis to officiate at -- or even attend -- interfaith weddings in which the non-Jewish spouse does not convert.
No details on how the couple will navigate these religious shoals have leaked out, just a few tantalizing hints -- such as Chelsea's attendance with Marc at Yom Kippur services last September at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, the flagship institute for Conservative Judaism.
The silence surrounding the wedding's religious protocols has only increased speculation in the Jewish community about what the couple will do: Will a rabbi officiate at the ceremony? A minister? Or both -- or neither? And will the bride convert? Or the groom? Or neither? And what about the kids?
Rabbi David Wolpe likes the idea:
"As a rabbi, I would be delighted to see Chelsea convert," Rabbi David Wolpe, a Conservative Jew who leads Sinai Temple in Los Angeles, recently told The Daily Beast. "That would be my dream scenario."

The exchange between the two respondents is proof positive of the vicious racisim some jews have for non-jews.
You Jews are the most brilliant people on the face of the earth. Your stupid racisim and religion will be your final destructiion. What in hell is wrong with your fools. You need to bond together and welcome anyone who loves and loves you. !!
No Dreamer; It’s not racism that makes some Jews less than enthusiastic about mixed or near-mixed marriages. Two tepid Jews or a couple made up of Jew and a non-Jew do not form a kind of union that will bring forth Jewish children whose Jewish home, Jewish society of which they are a part and a Jewish education - religious and secular - will make certain (Yes, yes, nothing is certain) that continuity of Jewish people and Jewish civilization will emerge. This link in the golden chain requires dedication and seriousness.
Even under the best of present circumstances, this task is extremely difficult. The case in question simply makes it impossible.

@NoDreamer: It is not racism. Chelsea’s race is not an issue. Her religion is an issue. Judaism is not racist; a member of any race can be born into or convert to Judaism. The issue is that Jewish religious law, Jewish scripture, and Jewish teaching forbid intermarriage, period. That some Jews marry non-Jews is indicative only of the understanding of and affinity for Judaism that those Jews have.

You rebuttal makes your racism even more clear to me. The part about Jewish teachings forbidding intermarriage also sound a bit like “ole Mohammad’s) crap about “minimizing the infadels”. I fyou want the rest of the world to believe in you then you must believe the rest of the world deserves the same fro you. At the end of the day, you will have to nuke your neighbors or they will you.

So tell us all which felony was Bill Clinton convicted of? Where and when? Are you still asleep and dreaming about this? Are you one of those silly conservatives who believes much but knows virtually nothing?
Please supply a link to the court proceedings during which Bill Clinton was convicted or pleaded guilty to a felony.
Are you confusing Clinton with GW Bush? All Republican Presidents since Nixon have been felons but some have not been indicted as courtesy to old age and the office, like Reagan and GHW Bush. Nixon was pardoned prior to the trial but he was guilty and you know it.
