JTA: The Global News Service of the Jewish People

Terrorism works!

Larry Greenfield, a nice, ingratiating fellow and formerly the Republican Jewish Coalition go-to guy on the West Coast, wants me to make sure everyone knows that he's now the senior Jewish guy in Meg Whitman's campaign to become California's governor. oust Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.)

To that end he is effecting the creeping annexation of my Facebook page, inserting himself even into my commented hopes that my native city team (the Habs) best my adopted city team (the Caps) in Stanley Cup playoffs.

Larry has his work cut out for him, perhaps moreso than former E-Bay Empress Whitman: It's an anti-incumbent year, to be sure, but I don't see California's Jews swinging away from Boxer, who reflects exactly their tendencies: strongly liberal and strongly pro-Israel.*

Here's where he broadcasts, from time to time, at All Patriots Media.

*Oof, did I muck it up. Whitman's running for Gov., probably against Jerry Brown. I have no Jewish insight on this one.

Thank you kindly Ron, for the post and the correction.

Since California is home to 1 million Jews, and since the California economy
drives the national economy, and since California’s 33rd Governor, Ronald Reagan, because the beloved 40th President of the United States, it does make sense to include some Jewish politics and general coverage of our Golden State.

I am a loyal JTA reader, and so invite comments and dialogue on Jewish politics
at my facebook page, which links my media appearances.

Hope to see many of you at my lectures around the country.

Fellow in American Studies, The Claremont Institute
Executive Director, Reagan Legacy Foundation
Senior Policy Adviser, Meg Whitman for Governor 2010
