Republican National Tchochkes
Ben Smith at Politico has a fab scoop about a Republican National Committee presentation on fundraising at a recent retreat in Boca Grande, Fla.
GOP honchos are already distancing themselves from the PowerPoint presentation -- apparently picked up by a Democrat who found a hard copy left behind at the hotel. The presentation's strategy is to use "fear" to lure in small donors and "access" to lure in the "ego-driven" big donors.
And not only access:
OK, we got it: Tchochkes are critical.
But what exactly makes an RNC tchochkes?
