Glenn Beck: Let’s all fast on Yom Kippur

Glenn Beck, the conservative talking head who has engaged in Obama-is-lbehaving-like-the-Nazis rhetoric, would like all Americans embrace to adopt Yom Kippur as a day of fasting and prayer. It started with this tweet: "Lets make it a day of Fast and Prayer for the Republic. Spread the word. Let us walk in the founders steps."

And then he raised the idea again on his radio show.

Aaron Keyak of the National Jewish Democratic Council took to The Huffington Post to poke fun. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann takes the more indignant approach:

To follow your line of reasoning, Mr. Paige, isn’t it strange that Fox News hasn’t used their “bigoted instincts “ to attack the Jews, since it would be clearly in their interest to do so. After all, what do American Jews offer the “bigots “ at Fox News? 80% of us voted for Obama and proudly affirm our “Liberal” credentials.

You seem to prefer the known anti-Semites who crowd around President Obama. We don’t have to worry in their case that they might someday use their bigoted tactics on us. We already know, if we are not too blind to see and hear what they have said and continue to say about us, and more to the point, about ISRAEL.

Keith Olbermann – form what he said I about Glenn. I wonder if Keith’s parents came to the United States under Operation Paperclip? Keith seems infatuated with Obama’s National Socialist leanings. Jews you had all better pray for the republic. Especially with the poor performance of Present Obama’s diplomacy, Obama stinks as a president when it comes to diplomacy. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad just stuck his
“Hossein” Salami in the faces of Obama and Clinton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j38rgANBxqo&feature=player_embedded

MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann showed himself to the be the ass that he is with his comments about Glenn Beck asking people to fast on Yom Kippur.  He showed a complete disrespect for Yom Kippur and the Jewish people, not to mention his total ignorance!  Glenn Beck is right on for asking people to fast and pray for the United States on Yom Kippur.  What better time to do so, than the Day of Atonement?
