RJC: Palin is an experienced and principled leader

The Republican Jewish Coalition praises Sarah Palin, and says she does have "a proven track record of experienced and principled leadership."

Washington, D.C. (August 29, 2008) – Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matt Brooks issued the following statement today:

"By choosing Governor Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential candidate, John McCain once again demonstrates good judgment and a commitment to challenging politics-as-usual. As governor of Alaska, Palin has enjoyed a strong working relationship with Alaska's Jewish community. She has demonstrated sensitivity to the concerns of the community and has been accessible and responsive.

Palin has a proven track record of experienced and principled leadership. Palin has been a leader on the critical issue of energy independence and lessening our need to buy oil from nations not sharing America and Israel's foreign policy interests.

Palin is anything but the typical Washington pick. A former commercial fisherman and mother of five children, Palin is an exciting and vibrant leader. She will bring a unique perspective to the presidential campaign. Her frontier spirit and triumph over adversity will benefit John McCain and the entire Republican ticket. Together, they are a dynamic team. They will show the American people that on the critical issues facing this country the Republicans have the right solutions. John McCain and Sarah Palin are ready to face the tough challenges ahead."

You have got to be kidding… McCain/Palin is absolutely ridiculous.  How this is a presidential ticket is mind blowing.

Obama 08.

What a brilliant selection. Gov. Palin knows the meaning of the phrase, “Actions speak louder than words.” Her work for oil independence and against big government is real, not just words. Change in Washington? Hussein Obama talks about it; Palin is doing it. Her pride as an American and in her son serving in Iraq had my heart pounding and my eyes tearing. G-d bless her. Hussein Obama will be back on the S. Chicago front as a community activist. Impressive, Barack. I haven’t even heard one testimonial from anyone in any community that you helped, so your activism was only to drum up support for your radical ideas. It’s all about you, BHO, not about the community. It’s over, Bore-ack.

Senator Palin supported Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. Any Jewish reader with an internet connection can learn about Buchanan’s beliefs concerning Jews.

You’ll find he praises “Hilter’s courage”…refers to congressman who support Israel as members of the “Amen chorus” and, in an infamous editorial piece, began by listing the last names of soldiers sent to fight the Gulf War (A war he opposed).

Mr. Buchanan gave the the soldiers easily recognizable ethnic names, in the vein of O’Brian, Smith, Jackson, Lopez…obviously omitting a Jewish sounding surname.

The message that Jews were not fighting a war that, according to Buchanan, was a conflict only Israel and the ‘Amen Chorus wanted, was clear.

And now Jews are lining up behind a Buchanan supporter. Look before you leap–no one will be there to catch you.

Thanks for saying this.  How do we get this point out to the community.  I talk to everyone I know, but I live in a small town with a small Jewish community - how do we spread this information to the older jewish community in the larger cities.

Sarah Palin is an extreme right wing NEO NAZI who openly supported Buchannan who is a HOLOCAUST DENIER and praised Hitler “as a man of great courage”. Palin never expressed her views about ISRAEL.
In addition, she is an evangelical idiot who still believes that THE EARTH IS FLAT and that evolution is wrong.

Jewish associations are outraged

“Sarah Palin is an extreme right wing NEO NAZI”

Godwin’s Law says you lose the argument. grin

Do you know what Al Sharpton, whom Obama endorsed and praised in 2007, says about white people and especially Jews? Do you know what the Trinity United Church of Christ says about Israel? That is why Obama is down to 60 percent (or less) of the Jewish vote. The only reason he has as much as he does is that most Jews have yet to see the anti-Semitic venom from his close associates, and TUCC’s questioning of Israel’s right to exist. I have the links, Web pages, and screen shots to prove this, and I am posting them as widely as possible.

I think Pat Buchanan ought to join the Trinity United Church of Christ, given his own views on Israel. He would feel right at home there, at least until one of the pastors said something like “There were a whole lot of white people crying.”
