Hamas: Obama is just like the rest of them

Looks like Obama’s AIPAC speech has cost him that Hamas endorsement.

  1. Is Obama a friend of Israel? Perhaps he will be a better friend than Bush, Clinton, McCain or John Hagee. Will Obama continue to allow Israel to control foriegn policy? McClellan said that Bush purposely mis-lead the American people concerning the Iraq war. We later found out that Bush was only a part of the conspiracy. Jessica Yellen said that MSM (Main Stream Media) played a major roll in the propaganda campaign leading up the the Iraq war. What about main stream religion, evangelists and ministers…they were major players in this conspiracy.. Phillip Zelikow, Bush adviser and member of the 911 commission said “Iraq war was launched to protect Israel.” .America has lost over 4000 of our finest to protect Israel. Obama should be pro-Iraq war.

  3. As a young (31) yr. old Japanese-American, I really have no understanding of , nor attraction/devotion/support for the nation of Israel. But I understand and appreciate the feelings of my Jewish friends, and Jews in general who do. I respect their opinions and their beliefs.
But I do know alittle about the Israeli military being the most up to date, modern, and best supplied army in the Middle East due to funds and weapons from the USA. Some of the weapons are made in the USA, some in Israel or other places. But the fact remains that the Israelis are the strongest and best supported of all nations in the Middle East. They could easilly wipe out Hamas, or the entire armies and nations of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, and even Iran.
Having said that, I do not understand why…being the mightiest army in the Middle East, the Israelis would need the USA military and also Marines and other personell and soldiers to come to the defense of Israel in times of extreme peril. Can’t they after 60 years defend themselves? They recieved tons of USA equipment and funds. They have a highly trained army. They have fleets of precision bombers. They don’t need the USA to come charging to the rescue of Israel.
IN the event that Israel is attacked, by Iran or whoever, I am sure the Israelis can defend and take care of themselves. They have a great army.
The USA can continue supplying Israel with funds, equipment, planes, bombs, etc. But there is absolutely no reason for the USA to get involved in a 3rd or 4th war or area of conflict in the MIddle East.
We already have Iraq, Afganistan, and perhaps Pakistan. Not to mention USA skirmishes with Somalia, and probably before too long….Sudan.

I have a neighbor who already did 2 tours of Iraq. He and his family and friends (like me), are happy he is now out of the Marines and is off active duty. He won’t be recalled again.
But I would hate to see young Americans who have already been to Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan, S. Korea, or elsewhere have to fight for Israel……when Israel has such a first class army and airforce that they could take on all of their enemies without USA direct involvement of USA lives.
For Israel to assume or expect that the USA would get involved in their defense in that magnitude is totally unjustified and wrong.
Israel has proven on many occasions that it can defend itself without direct USA involvement.
No more for the USA. Not after Iraq!!

  4. Yes, you are right, America needs to call its resources back home and fix our problems and feed our own poor people which is increasing thanks to the falling dollar because of the war. We need to rebuild America and the middle class,we need to eliminate the working poor, noone should be working and poor here in America. We need to control the runaway corporations and special interests. I wish we could reinstate American freedom, the constitution, and make this a country I can be proud of again. No more aid to Israel,no more power to them except for the voting American Jews. They can fend for themselves, and still host the “tour” the American christians enjoy so much. Our military people need a break, we should implement all previously hidden alternative energy vehicle technology and put them to work NOW. The sooner we can live without oil the sooner our people can come home. God Bless America and our troops and lets try a different foreign policy of loving one another, perhaps this concept would save the world.

  5. Hamas knows that endorsing Obama will get people to vote for McCain. Hamas is smart enough to lie low until after its man gets elected.

It is to be noted that Eli Pariser, who runs MoveOn.org (whose endorsement Obama solicited and accepted) advocated a “non-military response” to 9/11. I can understand why Hamas and Al Qaida want someone who shares that kind of mentality, as opposed to a retired Navy captain, in the White House.

  6. I have one question.
Although I was born in the USA (Los Angeles) and now live in Philadelphia, I have tons of relatives still in Japan (Tokyo, Sapporo, Hokkaido, and Kyoto).
They all e-mail us asking—”Why is it that the USA feels compelled to be the hero of the world…the policeman who gets involved in every conflict, in every skirmish…in every fight??”
I don’t have an answer, except “The stupid policies of the Reagan and Bush presidencies”.
Not total isolationism, but alittle bit of isolationism for us would be a great thing.
No more knee-jerk “call out the troops” by the USA when every trouble-spot on earth starts rumbling. No more playing “Mighty Mouse” come to save the day, or “Superman”. Let things be.
If we hadn’t gotten involved in Iraq (Bush’s stupid A.H. decision), we wouldn’t have the problems of today. If Bush and his red-necked cowboys hadn’t opened their mouths making comments regarding terrorists after 9/11 and Iraq like “If you wanna fight ‘merica, bring it on.” Our country would be safe, and in alot better financial shape.
We owe all our economic and gas problems in this country to George W. Bush and company.
The good thing about that, it that it’ll keep Bush clones like McCain out in November!
