Debate Moment: Denouncing and rejecting Louis Farrakhan

The most Jewish moment in any debate during this campaign came Tuesday night, in an exchange over Louis Farrakhan's recent comments praising Barack Obama.

Not buying it. He is full of fluff and empty hype. Words with no substance. Hillary has a long history with solid accomplishment and experience and understanding deserving of support of the jewish community. Obama had the chance to actually say something and he blew it.
Jews in Ohio and Texas have a very important chocie to make - let’s hope they make the right one.

The question that nags at me is how does Obama explain the close relationship that he has had and continues to have with Min. Wright who heaped praise and honor upon Min. Farrakhan, while himself denouncing and rejecting Min. Farrakhan?

Barack Hussein Obama in addition to stating that he denouced the anti-semitic and anti-Jewish State of Israel Farakan and Pastor Obama stated thathe gave a recent speech at his Pastor’s church to a predomenatly black audience where he stated he spke about the eviel of anti-semitism.Wh is it that Barack Hussein Obama waited until running as his party’s nominee for President of the U.S.A.to make that speech.Where was he 0ne year ago,two years ago when his anti-semitic Pastor was deliverng his speechs of hate????Obama also stated he was ahead of Mc Cain in the polls.One has to wonder why if Obama is sincere about disagreeing with his Pastor whyhe doesn’t find anothe Church where te Pastor is not anti-semitic and anti-Israel???Today’s Sun-Sentinel published an article from the liberal paper Los Angelos Times showing that McCain had a substantial lea i the polls over Obama.

Sander Poritzky: If you listened carefully to Obama’s denunciation/rejection of Farrakhan’s anti-semitic stance at the debate on Wed. evening, he said he spoke about anti-semitism to an assembly of mostly black people at commemoration ceremonies for Martin Luther King at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, which is in Atlanta, not at his pastor’s church which is in Chicago.  However, Obama referred to only Farrakhan’s hateful anti-semitic stance in his denunciation/rejection, and not any of Farrakhan’s other hateful positions that he espouses. Obama should have spoken out about these also, if he wanted to convince the American people where his loyalties lie.

It was a “Yes” or “No” question & BHO AVOIDED a STRAIGHT answer to TR but HRC forced him into a corner & he capitulated.

HRC should have also pushed him to denounce his racist “pastor” but unfortunately she did not.

You people kill me. You always want Black People to repudiate his own black brother who has done him no harm. However, you all will not repudiate the actions of some of your fore-fathers who help to enslave us, rape our women, refuse to educate us, rob us of our names, language, religion, etc. I think that the people asking for repudiation are the biggest hypocrites. All of the Prophets had a message of redemption and mercy. That doesn’t apply to Minister Farrakhan? Hypocrites. The people on this blog aren’t righteous enough to repudiate anyone. Neither am I. Minister Farrakhan hasn’t harmed any human being. I know him personally and I know for a fact that he respects ALL humanity. But like some (not ALL)Jews did against Prophet Muhammad and all the rest of the Prophets, lie after lie. I guarantee you that neither Hillary Clinton nor Barak Obama know what Minister Farrakhan said that have false practitioners of the Jewish faith upset.

Give me a break..As a McCain supporter,I believe OBama was clear in his refuting anti_Semitic and anti Israel statements.
If Senator McCain can accept right wing,i.e.Buchanan type of support,than surely Sen.OBama cannot stop bigots from voting for him.

Siddiq Muhammad, There ARE some BRAVE African-American’s that REJECT LF. AND do you forget that it was in MANY CASES that FELLOW AFRICANS sold FELLOW AFRICANS into the slave trade? Apparently. ANYWAY, the slave owning ppl of the past are not coming back from the dead to publicly/verbally endorse any white candidates so your remarks are OT.
====
Alan Nathan Cahn, The question that TR asked of BHO was exactly this: “Do you reject his support?”
So I’ll repeat:
It was a “Yes” or “No” question & BHO AVOIDED a STRAIGHT answer but HRC forced him into a corner & he capitulated (somewhat but more than he had before her comments see * sentence).

Clarification of repeat: It was a “YES"/"NO" answer to the question of if he REJECTS LF’S Support & IMHO (& in any sane person’s) that would include VERBAL support.

His answer should have either been: “Yes, I reject his support.” or “No, I do not reject his support.” *Which BTW, even w/ the pushing of TR & HRC he STILL did use either one of those responses.
====
Merriam-Webster definition of support: “to promote the interests or cause of”; “to argue or vote for”

Synonyms of support: “advocate, back, champion” END OF STORY!
====
BTW, if BHO gets the Dem nod then in the fall & the administration that follows will not dirty my hands for I can’t stand either JM or BHO (I barely tolerate HRC BUT btwn the 3 that’s the only one I could even possibly consider voting for) for I will not vote for either one (nor nutty-RN for that matter)...for you see my dislike of ppl in politics is bi-partisan (or even tri-partisan if you incl RN).

Muhammad,Why would Barack Hussein Obama as a father take his young impressional children who are now ages 6 and 10 years to listen from birth to the hate America,hate white sermons of Pastor Wright?Could it be because Obama supports Wright’s anti-American positions by his stated Mentor and Spiritual leader?I doubt if you would allow your children to attend a school or a church where the teacher or Pastor spewed such hatred and lies.
