Interesting that there are no comments yet about the landmark study and the observations we could/should all make and take from this report! Philanthropic support for Jewish day schools continues to be a dilemma that many are refusing to address. Inadequate endowments are one aspect; not having truly state-of-the-art facilities is another issue. So much relates to money and while these have been difficult times for fundraising, too many school leaders aren’t facing strategic giving properly. Let’s take some lessons from colleges and universities and really set up more professional and aggressive fund resource development efforts to support our schools!
