]]> 2011-02-25T;01:28:00-05:00 fossilh@aol.com I read Messingers speech then went to the AJWS website and looked for where she calls for or they sponsore help for Jews in need.  It is up to us to assist our own first and sponsor programs that will provide that there will be Jews as Jews in the future and not individuals who had parents or grandparents who were practicing Jews.  Walk the halls of various Jewish Federations ( those still open ) and hear the silence caused by lack of funds.  It is not only those that used to walk and work in the halls that are suffering but those in the future who will not be a continuation of the past.  It is fine to aid others but first support your own.
