The Jewish community was taken in by affinity fraud. The implicaiton that it would be a routine crime if Madoff were not Jewish only fans the flames of anti-Semitism. Whenever there are those who are smug in being elite insiders there will be those who have much less sympathy when that complacency leads to affinity fraud. Please display a broader perspective.
