Jewish Agency ratifies plan to adjust mission

The Jewish Agency ratified the plan it passed this summer to revamp its mission at the group’s board of governors meetings in Jerusalem today.

You can read the details of the plan here, which The Fundermentalist disclosed in June. The board, meeting at the Inbal Hotel, passed unanimously the plan to shift towards focusing more energy on global Jewish identity, according to eJewishPhilanthropy.com. The Financial Times explains the role that dwindling immigration to Israel played in the move.
