Heeb not closing, according to publisher
Despite a rumor on Gawker saying otherwise, Heeb Magazine is not folding, the magazine's publisher told the Fundermentalist.
Gawker, the online tab, printed Monday that its sources had said that the former Joshua Venture project was closing:
A tipster informs us that Heeb—the favorite rag of Holocaust-mocking hipster Jews everywhere—is going kaput. Details?
But Heeb's publisher, Josh Neuman, says that reports of his mag's demise have been greatly exaggerated.
"I think they maybe they're reading a little too much into the cover of our Winter Issue. Like Tupac faking his own death or something. Whatever. The traffic will help us sell menorahs for Modern Tribe," he told The Fundermentalist late Monday night.
He added: "We've actually got some pretty giant initiatives in the near horizon. A new website on its way, our largest partnership, more and more video...Dude, we just started printing an Australian edition!!!!"

Now, Heeb is not the crux here, since it originated as a term of endearment among Eastern European Jews. All the other ethnic terms you noted started out as derogatory, were initiated by non-members of the ethnic group involved and were meant to cause hurt. Hence no Italian would call a Journal WOP nor an Irishman use Mic, etc., etc.

I asked this of many ranters before you and none have ever answered. Most just went away.
And, no. Israel and much of the Diaspora have pretty much gone their separate ways. Israel has little say over world Jewry. The reverse is true, and if anything that influence is growing.
And Israeli men are considered quite macho - seen in the image of the IDF - and Israeli women are considered quite beautiful, a feature that spreads across all Semitic women. Jordan’s Queen Rania is far from Jewish but is a shining example of the beauty of Semitic women. In fact, Israel has been glamorizing women of the IDF and has supermodels who are taking the world by storm.

BTW, I am 100% Ashkenazi Jew with a lineage directly from Eastern Europe and traceable to the fun loving days of Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain who drove my ancestors out of Spain more than 500 years ago. They stood by principles and held on to their Judaism at the risk of their lives and chose exile to conversion.

Dunno, “Steve” ... you seem to have pretty free reign on spewing hatred.
You threw invectives at David Saperstein when the JTA article was on the Reform Movement’s position on negotiating with Iran, found it convenient to call Barney Frank an it that wears tampons under an article on tolerance, ranted that whether or not Israel has bunker buster bombs is being ignored by the JTA, etc., etc.
Seems that you joined on October 23, 2009, to have an avenue for your nonsense and hatred.
As for your Heeb problem, it was a name chosen by an organization for identity purposes. Heeb once was used by Jews as a term of endearment. Now it is a slur. Here is an organizatioin that sticks it’s thumb into reasoned eyes and has become news. So how does JTA report on them? H***?
