Changes at Birthright NEXT?

Following up on a tip from a reader about layoffs at Birthright NEXT, we have just learned that the organization is undergoing a restructuring and has let go several employees.

I don’t have much more information about the restructuring and hope to learn more soon, but I just received the following IM from the organization’s executive director, Daniel Brenner:

Birthright Israel NEXT has just completed a process of restructuring our organization and we have let go six employees in that process.  We let go two individuals from our communication department, one from programming and three from our community initiatives work. The restructuring is being done in an effort to create a more efficient structure for us to meet our goals in the coming year.
